About Probate Administration

Probate administration is the process of fairly dividing up a person’s property and estate at the time of death. If you have a will, “probate” is the process by which the instructions in your will are executed by an appointed executor. If you do not have a will, probate is the process by which your property is administered under the laws of descent and distribution by an individual chosen by the court. The probate process is designed to protect and inform all persons involved in an estate. Lisman Leckerling can help you strategically prepare for the process of probate, and can walk you through the probate process on behalf of a decedent.
